QALAMUL HAQ-THE REALITY

Qalamul Haq was started in 1999 with the name samuslims.co.za

Abdus Sather Syed , Yusuf Ismail, Faiz Adam and Freroz Khan started this group due to the haraam chicken saga, the starting of souks and seeing and observing that ulama were losing the plot. We started tackling issues facing the ummat in South Africa, speaking the haq and calling out baatil. As time went by the group grew and ran for over a decade. Abdus Sather Syed then moved to Gauteng where he lived for over a decade. During the move we lost the samuslim.co.za domain. He is now back in Durban.

He ran it (Qalamul Haq-formerly samuslims.co.za) alone, with mashwara and advice from the Majlis. As time passed others joined in. Some are still with us, some are not and some are new.

Other members who do not wish to have they names mentioned in public for personal reasons.

We have a second committee with more members who assist.

NB: We have members in our shura and our second committee who have sensative jobs with certain companies and organisaions. We therefore cannot name them.

We are based in South Africa (different parts), but have representation in many countries Alhamdulillah. Some groups in other countries go by different names but are in reality Qalamul Haq.

We also have members from UK, Austraila, America, Canada, India Singapore and many other countries. They use pen names as they cannot speak freely in these countries and could have issues with the authorities. So we cannot name them.

We take mashura and have some of our articles and audio that we author checked by seniors. Mostly Moulana Abdul Hamid Saheb and Molana A.S Desai Saheb. We also take mashwara with many other ulama from Wifaq SA and independant Ulama who are not affiliaited to Wifaq.

We are not formally endorsed by Wifaq SA, The Majlis or any other  organisation or senior Aaalim. They do however endorse content sent to them or correct us. We do not require formal endorsement based on our methodology.
