NIKAAH & SIMPLICITY

Simplicity in Weddings and Functions

On one occasion Hazrat Shaikh Moulana Muhammad Zakariyya Rahmatullahi Alay mentioned:
In the era of Rasulullah Salallahu Alayhi Wa Salam, the nikaahs used to be carried out with so much of ease and simplicity that we find that Hazrat Abdur Rahmaan bin Auf Radiallahu Anhu got married, yet the news of his marriage did not even reach Nabi Alayhis Salaam. In this day and age, through the elaborate functions and high standards of nikaahs, people have made the issue of marriage very difficult. People have to bear much difficulty to get their daughters married on account of the high expenditure and unnecessary costs incurred in carrying out the nikaah. This results in many girls‟ nikaahs being delayed, despite them having reached the right age of nikaah. (Malfoozaat of Hazrat Shaikh)

OUR SUCCESSS IN THIS WORLD AND AAKHIRAT LIES IN OBEYING THE COMMANDMENTS OF ALLAH AND THE FOLLOWING THE MUBAARAK LIFESTYLE OF NABI ALAYHIS SALAATU WAS SALAAM

This statement is Haq and echoes a century later what Hazrat Moulana Ilyas Rahmatullahi Alay stood and worked for.
Social distancing in Salaat is the opposition of an emphasised Sunnah. If we were to subscribe to the above statement then it would be hypocrisy of the highest level to make mock Salaat with social distancing.
One would be better of making Salaat alone in the Musjid or in Jamaat at home with their families if faced with this situation.

But the lovers of Sunnat, the followers of Sunnat, the proponents of Sunnah can never practice such a practice that goes against anything that is Sunnah. Moreso and emphasised Sunnah.

Through this Sunnah Allah Ta’Aala unites hearts. Nabi Alayhis Salatu Was salaam had warned that failure to uphold this Sunnah will cause the Shayateen to cause to discord and disunity in the Ummat.

The Sahaaba Radiallahu Anhum Ajmaeen stood like an iron wall in Salaat in all circumstances including plagues. They NEVER compromised this Sunnah or found Fatwa to go against this Sunnah. Hazrat Muaadh Bin Jabal, the Sahaaba who was most well versed in Halaal And Haraam did not consider such an abomination.

SO DOES OUR SUCCESS LIE IN FOLLOWING THE STATEMENT IN THE TITLE OF THIS LITTLE MESSAGE OR IN FINDING WAYS TO COMPROMISE ON IT? THE POWER OF SUNNAH IS EMITOMISED IN SHAQAL QAMR-ONE MUBAARAK FINGER SPLIT THE MOON. WHAT CAN BE SAID OF A SUNNAH THAT HE ALAYHIS SALAAM EMPHASISED AND INSTRUCTED WITH SUCH EMPHASIS THAT SAHAABA USED TO WAIT FOR SAFFS TO BE STRAIGHT AND NO CENTIMETRE OF DISTANCING BEFORE COMMENCING SALAAT?

May Allah Ta’Aala guide and protect us all and protect our Imaan. Wallah, Imaan and ONE Sunnah is more precious than life. They say “Save lives”; We say “Save Sunnah”.

COVID 19 POSITIVE ATTENDING MASAAJID

1. If one is diagnosed with Covid, should he isolate and read his salaah at home, or should he go to the masjid if he is affected mildly (i.e. body strength, very light cough, and fever, minor difficulty in breathing, etc.)?

2. If a person who is Covid positive and goes to the masjid and the other musallis are aware that he is positive, will he then be sinful for inconveniencing Muslim brothers as unfortunately not everyone is comfortable being around the sick these days?

A:

1. He should go to the musjid. This does not prevent him from attending the musjid. To avoid any harassment he may do the fardh in the musjid, and read the sunnat and nafl at home, and he should not make it known to others.

2. It is not a reason for them to feel uncomfortable. They may perform namaaz at the other end of the musjid.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

MASK SOCIAL DISTANCE SALAH

QUESTION
Is salaat valid when performed in congregation wearing a mask and social distancing at the local mosque?

ANSWER
Social distancing is directly against the emphasised teaching of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). And people who are generally required to put on masks, they normally drop down the masks to below the lips and then perform the namaaz.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Making the Most of Our Time

Hazrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (rahmatullahi ‘alaih) once mentioned:
Every action of a person, whether relating to Deen or dunya, if analyzed on the surface, can be divided into one of three categories. The first category of actions are those actions which bring benefit to a person, the second category of actions are those actions which bring harm and loss to a person, and the third category of actions are those actions that neither bring benefit nor harm to a person.
However, if one has to carefully ponder over these three categories of actions, one will realize that

Worshipping Allah Ta’ala 24/7 through the Sunnah

Hazrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (rahmatullahi ‘alaih) once mentioned regarding Akbar Ali who was one of his associates:
Akbar Ali was a very intelligent person. Once, while in dialogue with a Christian, he posed the following question to him, “If a person wishes to turn his entire focus towards Allah Ta‘ala throughout his life, and remain engaged in ‘ibaadah twenty-four hours of the day, in such a manner that his heart is not consumed by the world, then do you Christians have any method whereby he can acquire this?” The Christian replied, “No, there is no such method in the religion of Christianity.”
Akbar Ali then said, “However, there is such a method in the religion of Islam. Islam has shown us a complete and perfect way of life through following the Mubaarak Sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). In every department of human living, and at every occasion in a person’s life, there are certain sunnats and etiquettes to be practiced and azkaar (du‘aas) to be recited whereby one will be able to remember Allah Ta‘ala. Islam has taught us that on awakening, we should recite certain du‘aas, when sitting and waking up from a gathering, then we should recite certain du‘aas, and likewise, when lying down to sleep, when eating and before and after relieving ourselves, then we should recite certain du‘aas.

FORMATION OF THE ORIGINAL JUSA/UUCSA

In the light of the background in the article below (edited by Qalamul Haq), understand the birth of genuine UUCSA/JUSA with Hazrat Moulana Ahmad Sadek Desai Hafizullah (Hazrat) at its helm.

IT WAS FORMED TO SAVE ONE MUSJID.
THE CURRENT PEOPLE AND BODIES RUNNING WITH THESE NAMES ARE CLOSING 100’S OF MUSAAJID.
ONE DOES NOT NEED TO BE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE!!

In 1970, that is almost half a century ago, (we stress, during the apartheid regime) when the vast majority of the current members of all the Jamiats had either not yet appeared on the surface of the earth, or they were still young children or not born. In short, the current bogus clique of a bogus name “uucsa” had absolutely no role in the affairs of the Muslim community of South Africa.

In 1970, which was the very first year when Hazarat Moulana AS Desai Saheb arrived from Jalalabad after having completed his Deeni studies under the guidance and supervision of Hadhrat Maulana Masihullah (Rahmatullah alayh), he was thrown into the affairs of the Muslim community much against his will and inclination. Circumstances compelled his involvement and participation in the affairs of the Muslim community.
The primary issue which had constrained Hazrat to become involved in the affairs of the Muslim community was

MJC BETRAYING THE STANCE OF MOULANA TAHA KARAN
(A STANCE WHICH QALAMUL HAQ IS OPPOSED TO)

At the outset, Qalamul Haq makes it clear that this article is directed at the MJC & their and Moulana Karan’s followers.
The man has passed away and we make Dua for Moulana Taha’s Maghfirat.

In complete betrayal of what Moulana Taha Karan stood for the MJC have come out in all their hypocritical glory by calling for Salatul JANAZA at Masaajid which Moulana Karaan opted or preferred to close to “save lives”, more so in this third wave. May this now be implemented for others as well? Are they willing to change their stance on the closing of Musaajid for those who love the Sunnah and the Sahaabah more than any other person?
Moulana Karaan wrote pages upon pages in refutation and relegation of the Sunnah yet MJC and their cartel and Moulana Karaan lovers and followers betrayed such at the JANAZA where social distancing had been forgotten apart from the time of Salah.

THE DECEPTION OF MUSLIM COVID STATS

- An unreliable PCR test cannot give accurate case numbers

- Do not spread lies by forwarding the covid stats.

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “It is enough lying for a man to speak of everything that he hears.” Narrated by Muslim in al-Muqaddimah, 6; Saheeh al-Jaami, 4482.

Did you know that there was a shocking study published in the Public Library of Science Journal, that found“up to 72%” of scientists admitted their colleagues were engaged in “questionable research practices,” and that just over 14% of them were engaged in outright “falsification”?
If that’s not bad enough, between 1977 and 1990 the FDA found scientific flaws in 10–20% of all the studies they audited.
But it gets even worse; scientists at the Thousand Oaks biotech firm Amgen, set out to double-check the results of 53 peer reviewed landmark published studies in their fields of cancer research and blood biology. What they found was shocking;

Greater and more important than our connection with South Africa should be the concern for our connection with Allah Ta'aala and the Mubarak sunnah of Hz Rasululaah ﷺ.

MEDICINE AND THE CONCEPT OF NAJAASAT (FILTH)

Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:

“Allah has not created the shifa’ (cure) of my Ummah in substances which have been made haraam for them.”

Najaasat (filth/impurity) is a natural attribute of kufr. Imaan repels najaasat since it is the very antithesis of all Imaani attributes of excellence. It is the natural affinity between najaasat and kufr which draws the western medical establishment irresistibly towards experimentation with filth and impurities. In fact, they savour a coprophilic concept of medical efficacy in impure and filthy substances.

It is therefore not at all surprising that despite the existence of millions of varieties of pure and beneficial substances in the plant and stone kingdoms, western medical scientists almost always incline to experiment with filth – blood, urine, faeces, human after-birth substances, diseased cells, and many other items of najaasat.

Aggravating this concept, is their concept of

The incident of Fadak

Posted by Maulana Muhammed saloojee

(please note that this is quite a lengthy read but important as we need to educate ourselves on the lies of the Shias-Qalamul Haq)

Before moving on to `Umar’s radiya Llahu `anhu relationship with the Ahl al-Bayt, it is necessary that we pause for a moment, to address a question that might arise, and that is: If there was so much love and affection between them as mentioned, then how does one explain the incident of Fadak? It is this incident that the enemies of Islam take out of context to fulfil their objectives, intending to establish that there was disunity amongst the Sahabah of Rasulullah salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam and the prophetic household in particular, and the Muslims in general. As if the Ahl al-Bayt was on the one side and the Muhajirin, Ansar, and the rest of the Muslim nation on the other.

It was not and it never will be as such! The matter in essence was not of great importance and significance, as they make it out to be. The incident occurred after the demise of the Prophet salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam and the Muslims had now pledged allegiance to Abu Bakr radiya Llahu `anhu. Fatimah radiya Llahu `anha had requested her estate from Abu Bakr radiya Llahu `anhu which the Prophet salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam had left behind, i.e. that which Allah had granted the Prophet salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam, viz. Fadak[1]. Abu Bakr radiya Llahu `anhu responded,
The Prophet salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam said,

RAMADAAN - THE TIME IS NOW

By Wifaqul Ulama South Africa

Oh you who believe, fasting has been ordained for you like it was ordained for those before you so that you may becoming mindful (of Allah) Al Baqarah It is a time to replenish our reserves of Taqwa. Ramadaan creates consciousness of Allah Ta’ala. It’s a sweltering hot day, your throat is parched. You are in the privacy of your home and the refreshingly cool water is within reach. You desire to drink it, but you do not. Only because Allah is watching! Ramadhaan is an easy opportunity to build on our reserves of Taqwa. .

TILAAWAH OF THE QUR’ĀN KAREEM

There is a special connection between the month of Ramadaan and the Qur’ān Kareem. We should set aside as much time as possible to Read the Noble Qur’ān. Recitation of Qur’ān enhances our relationship with Allah Ta'ala and we experience Closeness with our Rabb.We should adjust our routines for the month of Ramadaan, leave out all unnecessary activities and dedicate as much time as possible for the Qur’ān.
Note: With the advent of technology more people are reading Qur’ān from electronic devices. This is disliked and should be avoided. We should read as much Qur’ān as possible from the Mushaf – the physical printed Qur’ān. The reverence that the words of Allah demands, cannot adequately be displayed by us on the Qur’ān App. The Sahaba used to kiss the Qur’ān Kareem and say,

CAN TAKFEER BE MADE ON SHIAS?

Takfeer is made of all Shias ascribing to any such belief that renders them out of the fold of Islam. (Fataawa Mahmudiyyah Vol. 4 Pg. 19, 32, 73)

Although all Shias claim to be Muslims, most of them have beliefs that render them out of the fold of Islaam. The term ‘Shia’ initially referred to anyone who stood in favor of, or did not

CALCULATING HOW MANY QUR’AANS TO READ DURING RAMADHAAN (FOR WOMEN)

Mockery of Deen

by Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel Saheb (rahmatullah alayh)

There are many people who, despite their claims to Islam, seek to find fault with or disparage its teachings or beliefs, or make a mockery of Islam.

In the early days, we use to travel to India by boat. It took us 21 days to reach Bombay. During my third year, when I was travelling back to India, I met a doctor on board the boat.

In conversation he said to me: “Maulana, you people talk about the angels;   that each person has an angel on his right shoulder and on his left shoulder and these angels record the deeds of a person. If this is the situation, then

Women attending congregational or Eid Salaah

The era of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) was a mubaarak era. It was an era where Wahi (revelation of the Quraan) was being received from Allah Ta’ala. New Shar’ee laws regarding various issues were constantly being revealed by Allah Ta’ala and there was a need for Sahaaba to learn the laws of Deen relating to salaah, fasting and other injunctions directly from Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). Generally Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would educate the Sahaabah after salaah. Hence women were permitted to attend the congregational Salaah in the Musjid in order to learn the laws of Deen.

However, it should be borne in mind that the era of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) was the khairul quroon (the best of eras).  The greatest honour of that era was

UMMATI UMMATI- PROTECT YOUR IMAAN!

INTRODUCTION TO BOOK (EXTRACTED FROM BOOK-QALAMUL HAQ)

With the Fadl of Allah Ta’aala , this Kitaab, “UMMATI UMMATI! PROTECT YOUR IMAAN!” is presented to the esteemed readers who at the end will have an opportunity to make up their own minds as to where the Truth lies.
On the specific issue of naming and exposing the one who misguides others, Imaam Abu Hanifah (Rahmatullahi alay) said to his Student, Imaam Abu Yusuf (Rahmatullahi alay) :
“When you are aware of the evil of a person, then do not speak/mention this about him, but search for goodness from him, and speak about it, except in the matter of Deen. If you are aware of it (evil) in his Deen then mention him to the people so that they do not follow him and so that they stay away from him.
Rasulullah salallahu alayhi wa Salam said:
‘Mention the faajir with that in which he indulges so that the people stay away from him even if he is a man of status and position.’
And the person in whom you see corruption of the Deen, mention that (to the people) and do not be concerned of his status, for verily, Allah Ta’ala is your Aid, and your Helper.” (Wasayaa Imaam A’zam Pg. 25)
There are Ulama who innocently may have adopted certain drastic views which, in hindsight, they may modify and alter after reading this Kitaab.
This Kitaab is directed at those sincere, genuinely confused souls who frantically lift their empty palms towards the wide heavens and cry out to their Rabb:
‘O Allah, O our Rabb, please guide us and protect our Imaan and the Imaan of our progeny’.
Needless to say, this Kitaab will not benefit anyone who, for whatever reasons, have selected to snub and have elected to oppose its contents even before reading and studying it.
No force of persuasion can alter the path of such a hopelessly lost soul, whose unambiguous mission is focused upon self-sabotaging his Imaan.
For such people, there can only be but one Duá:
‘O Allah guide them, for they “do not know”
Indeed, Allah, Most High is the only Helper and Protector.

A PETITION FOR THE FUTURE OF DEEN IN SOUTH AFRICA

A call to the Ulama and Public of South Africa

As country after country begin to toe the line in the gradual attempt to corrode the roles that are set by Allah and to indoctrinate the masses to accept the creed of modernism, LGBT and feminism, the trajectory that is being noticed is that influential scholars are being recruited to further these agendas under the banner and pretext of "tolerance ", "unity" and the false pretext of giving in to government pressure in order to protect Muslim interests.

These calls, however, are mere justifications and do not hold true as a Muslim's life is meant to be sacrificed for ISLAM and not the other way around, as well as the fact that these tactics only serve to delay the inevitable as the disbelievers shall never be pleased till Islam is wiped out in its entirety.
Other Islamic organizations and Iftas had been asked regarding these issues and

Q. Can someone be a feminist and a Muslim?

A: Just as it is impossible for a Satanist to be a Muslim, it is impossible for a feminist to be a Muslim.
And Allah Ta’Ala knows best.

Answered by: Mufti Ebrahim Salajee (Isipingo Beach)
(Hazrat Mufti is the Principle of Madrasa Taalemud Deen and Ameer of WIFAQ SA-Qalamul Haq)
INTERFAITH

Our creed has stemmed from Ebrahim Alaihi salaam who was completely clear when it came to his stance on beliefs which contradicted the one's of Allah.

"Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrahim and those with him, when they said to their people: “Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides God, we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred forever, until you believe in God Alone.” [60:4].

Despite this being his own nation and his family as well he had the outstanding quality of hatred only for the sake of Allah.
He didn't say that he should maybe accommodatethese beliefs for his own "Maslihat" or to bring them with tact. He spoke out the truth clearly and Allah is commanding us to take cue from him.

Apart from the work that we do via internet platforms, we are also involved in Dawa work on ground, assisting to link people with organisations, Madraaris and Ulama of Haq as well as assisting with Maktab projects with other Ulama and organisations.

We receive requests for financial assistance on a regular basis and are compelled to direct the public to organisations that are supposed to handle this type of work. Many, however, have unfortunately complained of the red tape and lack of assistance.
We would like to do more based on our observations and experiences but we do not have funds for projects of this nature.
We are NOT asking for funding per se, but we are informing you that if you wish to contribute to our informal projects for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala, you may deposit funds into the account of the founder and senior administrator of Qalamul Haq. We have glanced through this book and found that there are many beliefs that are alien and foreign to Islam and its teachings.
